Newly available is the Challenge Flandrien Team Edition Tubular

First reported as a new Baby Limus, its wider and shallower tread, makes it faster rolling and better mud clearing

"Up close comparison between the Flandrien (on the left) and the Baby Limus (on the right). Whilst they share some of the same DNA, the Flandrien tread is much finer and more open. The central Y tread is 1.5mm across compared to the BL's 2mm, and the boomerang shaped transition tread also 1.5mm compared to the BL's 2.5mm. This increases the gaps but also makes it much more flexible.

The Flandrien looks like will be a faster tyre than the Baby Limus, and it could fill the gap left when Vittoria stopped making Terreno Wet tubulars.

I'm thinking early autumn rather than proper mud, for those who ride XC (on Mezcals) in the Summer and want a bit more bite than a Grifo when they get back on their CX bike.

I suspect lighter rider will love this..."
