QUAXAR IRIS discs offer great braking performance, a reasonable price and are one of the lightest discs available.

Brake discs are often down spec'd on bikes to meet a price point, and even top of the range discs are heavier... 

For comparison purposes, these weigh the *same as DURA-ACE CL discs, ULTEGRA CL discs are 20% heavier (*when combined with DT SWISS Centre Lock Converters), and SRAM's CentreLine six bolt discs are 46% heavier. 

Most people can save considerably more compared to the discs that came on their bike! 

140 mm discs used with carbon organic pads offer plenty of stopping power for cyclo cross, heavier riders or those with small hands might prefer the extra power offered by a 160 mm disc on the front.

As per SRAM'S HRD Safety Instructions; 160mm discs should be used for on-road riding, and 140mm discs should only be used for cyclo cross racing on a closed loop course.

SRAM FORCE AXS (12s) HAS A NEW CALLIPER AND PAD DESIGN WHICH ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 140mm NON SRAM DISCS.
